As far as wedding decorations go, winter season is a magical season. A beautiful snow scape will enhance the color of your wedding if it is white, or it can create striking contrast if your color is a bit more richer or having a earthy tone. Usually the wedding colors in winter seasons are white, platinum, silver, baby blue or lavender. Any of these colors can be incorporated into each aspect of your wedding decorations starting from your save-the-date cards, invitations cards to flowers, centerpieces as well as wedding attires.

One of the most delightful ideas is to use a white horse and carriage for your arrival at the ceremony instead of a usual limo. This will create a true wonderland wedding scenario reminding of Disneyland fairy tales. Another idea is to use a harp on your wedding. You can arrange for a harpist to play before and during your ceremony. This also goes very well with your winter wedding theme.

Your wedding cake could also use some winter themed wedding decorations like snowman cake toppers, pine cones etc. Use blue or silver ribbon around the cake for a winter wedding theme.

Christmas ornaments are also a great way to add sparkle to any winter wedding theme. Place silver or ice blue ornaments (ball shaped are ideal) into 3 tall glass cylinders or vases of varying heights.
